Types of Therapy

01 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing):
A therapy developed to support both the brain and body in decreasing distress from past traumatic memories and negative core beliefs. It also helpful in increasing positive feelings and positive beliefs about self.

02 Ego State Therapy:
A therapy that helps people to get to know and understand all the different parts of the self, specifically the parts of self the have been wounded. It is helpful in increasing self-compassion, increasing tolerance for the present moment, and working through inner-conflict.
03 Somatic Therapy:
A therapy that emphasizes the importance of the mind and body connection. Trauma is often stored in the body and learning to focus in on the body can be helpful in releasing the stress being held.
